Ashish Saraswat is a PhD candidate in Operations Management at IIT Roorkee’s Department of Management Studies, under the guidance of Prof. Tarun Sharma. He holds an MTech in Industrial Engineering from NIT Jalandhar and a BTech from AKTU University, complemented by a year of experience as an Executive Manager in the textile industry. His PhD research focuses on demand-side management in the energy sector, where he applies the SWITCH Power System Planning model to optimize energy strategies.

Ankit Sharma
Project Associate, Energy Modeler

Ankit Sharma is a Project Associate at IIT Roorkee. With a degree in Electrical Engineering, he has honed his skills in programming languages such as Python and R, as well as database management with SQL. His experience enables him to contribute effectively to the team's objectives, and he is dedicated to using his expertise to drive impactful projects. As part of the MCET project, he has worked on modeling workflows with energyRt, specifically on ingesting an arbitrary number of solar, wind, and storage profiles for various regions, developing test cases for storage, among other tasks.

Arvind Singh Bisht
