THE MCET TEAMS

Jorge H. García is Associate Professor at the School of Management at Universidad de Los Andes, Bogotá, Colombia.  His primary research interests lie in the design and evaluation of climate and environmental policy instruments in areas such as energy, manufacturing, and forestry. His research has mainly been on the enterprise and policy instruments for  emissions control which includes tradable emissions permits and public disclosure.  He holds a PhD in Economics from University of Gothenburg in Sweden, a Master´s degree in Environmental Economics from Universidad de Los Andes, and a Bachelor´s degree in Civi Engineering from  Escuela Colombiana  de Ingeniería.

Yeny E. Rodríguez  is Associate Professor at the Business School at Universidad Francisco Marroquín en Guatemala. She holds a Ph.D. in Management from Universidad de los Andes, a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from the same university, and a Bachelor degree in Statistics from Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Her main research interest is risk managemen at both the market and the corporate levels. At the market level, she is interested in derivatives pricing and portfolio construction in the power sector.  At the corporate level, she is focused on analyzing governance mechanisms, sustainability, and entrepreneurial orientation of family firms and its effect on their performance.

Camilo Herrera is an interdisciplinary energy and climate change expert with a focus on economic, technical, regulatory and policy analysis. He holds a Master's degree in Economics and Policy of Energy and Environment from University College London, a Master's degree in Economics from Universidad de los Andes, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Nacional. His research interests encompass policy development and evaluation for climate change mitigation and sustainable energy systems. His work includes collaborations with research think tanks, multilateral organisations, consulting firms and government institutions.

Juan Jose Dorado Muñoz is a Systems Engineer at AVISPA Research Group at University Universidad del Valle, Cali, Colombia. He is an expert in Power BI, including ETL processes and requirement gathering, and he is passionate about Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, neural networks, and deep learning. He is also a web developer using React.js, Material UI, and WordPress, and he is experienced in the administration and management of Moodle simulation platforms.
